A gift of $50 will help us complete our year-end fundraising goal of $180,000

$50 can significantly impact Ballet 5:8 and the creation of meaningful storytelling

A foundational part of our mission at Ballet 5:8 is innovative storytelling. All Ballet 5:8 performances are original and point our audiences back to our motivation for all that we do - our hope found in Jesus. The stories shared in our ballets are inspired by works of literature, poems, short stories, real-life stories, and Biblical stories. These stories allow our audiences to experience truth and beauty in a profoundly impactful way.

Julianna Rubio Slager, Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer at Ballet 5:8, creates ballets that center around issues that all of us struggle with in our lives. Some of the topics in her pieces include broken relationships, joy and sorrow, immigration and refugees, abortion, racism, acceptance, seasons of change and the after-life. Slager draws her inspiration from her own life, literature, scripture and the experiences of the many men and women she interviews during the process.

This makes Ballet 5:8's performances relatable, moving and relevant for a 21st century audience.

We need to raise $10,000 to complete our $180,000 fundraising goal. A gift of $50 would significantly and practically reach our goal by June 1, 2019. Are you able to invest in honest, relevant, and breathtaking dance today?

You are always welcome to give by check.
